My name is Viktória Debreczy. I was born in Hungary and graduated from Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design as a textile designer in 2011.
My passion for jewellery and minerals comes from my childhood. I used to watch the rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets and brooches of my mother, grandmother and other relatives with admire. Like many kids I used to love collecting bright things, a piece of broken glass or porcelain, a lost zircon, little stones, snail shells, anything that I found beautiful. My room was always full of these kind of "hidden treasures".
The first time I started to make jewellery regularly was during highschool and I always used to wear my own creations. I was unstoppable. During the university
I obtained more knowledge and experience about materials and techniques. I tried to associate different materials such as berries, beads, glass, wood, leather, plastic, silicon, yarns, metal, minerals, with traditional techniques like spinning, weaving, knitting, macrame.
After the university my passion towards minerals deepened so I started to collect them and use in jewellery making. I like the individual beauty of stones, their mysterious past and energy.
Macrame has always been a beloved technique for me. I've tried it in various scales - from thin yarn to climbing rope - and with materials from wool to plastic.
After all I decided to unite these techniques in order to create something beautiful. That's how the first boho style necklace was born.
I created AnDamir jewelry store and started to sell online in 2015 when I moved to the Netherlands
